several early Distinguished Toastmasters (DTMs).

Bandra Expansion: Concurrently, the Mumbai Toastmasters Club emerged as a towering
community hub. Gathering every Sunday at National College in Bandra, it
famously scaled its meetings to accommodate massive, high-energy audiences
of 70+ people per session.
- The
Corporate Parallel: Alongside community clubs, global corporate giants
headquartered in Mumbai—such as Tata Consultancy Services with its TCS Maitree Toastmasters Club—began introducing
corporate chapters to train internal leadership teams.
As the city’s geographic boundaries stretched, a
distinct geographical problem emerged: Mumbai's notorious traffic and vast
train networks made it difficult for enthusiasts in Central Mumbai to travel to
South Mumbai or the western suburbs for weekend meetings. A central hub was
desperately needed.

Rise of Dadar Toastmasters Club
To bridge this geographical gap, the Dadar Toastmasters
Club (Club Number: 03217489) was officially chartered on June 8, 2013.

Location and Culture
Dadar, historically recognized as the cultural and
geographical heart of Mumbai, provided the ultimate convergence point for
commuters from the Western, Central, and Harbour railway lines. The club
established its primary meeting ground at Krishna Jejurkar Classes,
located inside the Pearl Centre Building in Dadar West.
Dadar Toastmasters quickly carved out a reputation for
being an inclusive, high-standards community club open to all interested
individuals—ranging from college students from local institutions like
Ramnarain Ruia College to senior corporate professionals and business owners.
